Guru Nanak Dev Scholarship

To be awarded, on the basis of academic merit and a record of significant community service (a minimum of 10 hours of service to a volunteer organization), to a full-time student who is continuing their studies at Brandon University. To be eligible, students must obtain a letter of support from a volunteer organization describing their community service. This award is provided by members of Brandon’s Sikh community in honour of Guru Nanak Dev, the founder of Sikhism, and his philosophies of making your living by honest means, sharing your earnings with the poor, sick and disabled, and respecting nature for the abundant resources provided to humankind.
