Manitoba Rural Development Graduate Assistantship in Rural Development

To be awarded to graduate students from rural Manitoba (which includes any Manitoba community outside of Winnipeg)who are enrolled in the Rural Development Graduate Program at Brandon University. This scholarship will allow students to work for a designated faculty member part-time for one term. When possible, priority will be given to at least one recipient whose research is focused directly on rural economic development. Any graduate student who currently holds $12,000 or more per year in other scholarship or bursary funding will not be eligible to receive this award. This scholarship is renewable one time. In other words, the same graduate student may be eligible to receive this scholarship twice in two separate years.
