Claren Turner Scholarship in Gender and Women's Studies

To be awarded, on the recommendation of the Gender and Women’s Studies program, to a continuing or graduating student with high academic standing in any one of the following courses (or their equivalents) in this ranked order of preference: 36/54:441 History of Sexuality in Canada, 36/90:355 The Sociology of Sexuality, 36/90:267 Sociology of Intimacy and Marriage, or 36/82:280 Human Sexuality. This scholarship shall only be awarded to students who are not receiving, nor will receive any other scholarships totaling more than $2,500 (excluding bursaries and scholarship-bursaries) in the same award year. Recipients may only receive this scholarship once.
