Gender & Women's Studies Bursary

To be awarded to a continuing student on the basis of financial need and program recommendation. Preference will be given to a student in a Major or Minor program in Gender & Women’s Studies (GWS) who self-identifies as 2SLGBTQIA+. In the absence of an eligible candidate, preference will then be given to a student in a Major or Minor program in Gender & Women’s Studies who has demonstrated commitment to social justice and/or social change (letter outlining the student’s activities in this area required). In the absence of an eligible candidate, the award may then be granted, upon the recommendation of the Gender & Women’s Studies Program, as an award with no financial need component to a student in a Gender and Women’s Studies Major or Minor, based on GPA. This award may not be divided, and a student may hold this award a maximum of two times.
