Hon. John Stewart McDiarmid Student Research Scholarships

Funds from the Hon. John Stewart McDiarmid Student Research Scholarship are to be used, at the recommendation of the University Archivist (or designate), for scholarships awarded for outstanding student projects based on original archival research of materials held in the McKee Archives. Projects may relate to any discipline. Preference, however, will be given to those projects dealing with rural development, environmental issues, natural resources, or public policy. In years where there is no eligible recipient, the fund may be used to fund archival projects. Preference is that the award be granted to a single recipient, but when appropriate, the award may be shared by a maximum of two recipients.
